From a blank page to a professional resume.
A guided resume workspace that combines thoughtful editing, AI writing support, and polished templates—without taking control away from the person doing the work.
The product challenge
Writing a strong resume is already difficult. The software should not add another layer of complexity. Wizard Resume had to support beginners who want guidance, experienced users who want control, and a document that must remain polished throughout the process.
What I built
Wizard Resume is an end-to-end career workspace with a guided editor, a live document preview, more than 15 customizable templates, AI-assisted writing, and export to PDF, Word, or text. The product also extends into cover letters, job tracking, and interview preparation.
The interface keeps editing controls close to the part of the document they affect. People can move from structure, to content, to visual customization without losing the live result in the middle.
Decisions that mattered
Keep the person in control
AI is used as an assistant, not an autopilot. Suggestions can help someone get unstuck, while every word and formatting decision remains editable.
Make the document the source of truth
The preview is always visible on larger screens. Changes should feel direct: edit a section, see the document respond, and download the same result.
Grow beyond a single export
Resume building is one part of a longer job-search journey. Cover letters, application tracking, and interview preparation turn separate chores into one connected toolkit.
Current state
Wizard Resume is live and continues to evolve. The active product supports multilingual routes, reusable templates, AI writing assistance, and multiple download formats.
